Purrmaid Aoife - Pin Seconds

Purrmaid Aoife is our February Purrmaid of the Month, celebrating real life purrmaids to raise awareness about special needs cats. A portion of the proceeds made from the sale of this set of pins will be donated to help with Aoife's ongoing care and vet bills.

Aoife is sassy, confident and unafraid to be herself which is (hopefully) reflected in the pin design. With her big ears, big eyes, and diva pose, this grey tabby purrmaid in her signature pink tutu makes the perfect little gift for any cat lover, an adorable addition to a pin collection, or adorned on a favourite shirt or bag.

PIN SECONDS SALE
Pin seconds have minor imperfections and are grouped into 3 classes based on the defect/s (refer to image for examples):

• B GRADE: Imperfections which are barely noticeable, typically a tiny speck of dust. Could easily pass as a first grade pin. (Best value in my opinion)

• C GRADE: Very minor defects such as a tiny mark. Could pass as a first grade pin in many cases.

• D GRADE: I would define these as actual "seconds". These pins have minor imperfections, apparent once you've spotted them although often not glaringly obvious. These may include:
- Chips and/or shallow cracks
- Dark specks or dust
- Missing or discoloured enamel
- Overfilled or underfilled colours

AOIFE'S STORY
Aoife was found in a shelter as an orphaned 2 week old kitten. She suffers from congenital deformities that have resulted in hind leg paralysis and incontinence, however is not in any pain or discomfort. In fact, she is constantly surrounded by love and is thriving.

Aoife is showing the world that different is beautiful, and is living proof that cats with mobility challenges can not only live happy, fulfilling lives themselves, but are also a great source of happiness and fulfillment for us.
