Merida was a cat like no other—full of sass and bursting with personality. Named after the fiery heroine in Disney's Brave, she truly lived up to her namesake: strong, resilient, courageous, and determined to live life her way.

Known affectionately as the "Spicy Lion," her nickname captured both her feisty attitude as well as her lion-like tail. 

Merida's journey wasn't without challenges. Paralyzed after an unknown injury—likely from being stepped on by a large farm animal—her spirit remained unshaken. She was adopted by Jillian, founder of FosterBabyCats, a non-profit kitten rescue, where she thrived as a beloved part of the family.

Merida may have left us too soon, but her legacy lives on, reminding us to face every challenge with courage and a dash of sass.
