RAIN'S STORY
Rain has a condition called Manx Syndrome, which occurs when the naturally occurring mutation which shortens the tail, shortens the spine too much and seriously damages the spinal cord & nerves. This causes spina bifida as well as problems with bowels, bladder and digestion.
Rain can get around just fine but uses more of her hind legs than her paws to do so and looks more like a lil bunny hopping around. She is also incontinent so usually wears a diaper and needs to be expressed a few times a day. Other than that, she is like any other cat. She is the sweetest thing, loves to snuggle, and a pleasure to have around.
