This adorable enamel pin is a special edition and inspired by Reecie, a special needs kitty (view photo in gallery, slide 2).
Reece was born paraplegic so has never had use of his hind legs. He was rescued on a farm and taken to a loving foster home where he was cared for by Wilma his first few months of life. He was then adopted by AJ & Scot and lives in California with his 4 other special needs kitty siblings.
Millions of cats and dogs each year are euthanised in shelters each year. Those with special needs especially, often aren't given a second thought. Reecie is a huge advocate for special needs pets, and through his Instagram account raises awareness that special needs animals can live a happy and fulfilling life.
Purchasing a Reecie pin will help in raising awareness, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to SNAP Cats, a shelter dedicated to the care and rescue of special needs cats like Reecie.
