Timber was on his way to the slaughterhouse when he was rescued in China. What's worse, he was getting dragged behind a truck by a rope around his neck because the Chinese believe that adrenaline makes the meat taste better.

This is but one of the countless acts of cruelty that occur within the dog meat trade of Asia. Not only are dogs forced into tiny cages to travel long distances, starving & dehydrated but are then forced to watch in terror as other dogs are bludgeoned to death or thrown into boiling water alive, until they meet the same fate themselves.

Furwarriors are doing some amazing rescue work in this area, Timber being one of the lucky ones. It is estimated however that 10million dogs are slaughtered every year for the dog meat trade.

This card hopes to spread awareness of this blatant animal cruelty. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Fur Warriors to assist with their care and rescue efforts of severely abused dogs like Timber.
