Purrman Oats

Meet Oats – the laid-back, resilient kitty with a heart full of joy and a story of incredible courage. Oats was brought to a shelter as a kitten witfh a severe back injury. He had been caught in a heavy door which ultimately left him paralysed. 

Despite his challenges, Oats is all about fun and adventure. He zips around on his front legs with surprising speed and looks like an octopus gliding across the floor with his limbs swinging around gets into octopus-like antics, especially when it’s dark. Oats is incredibly expressive, often tilting his head as if he's about to start a conversation. His black fur, with a tiny white patch on his chest, and his naturally kinked left ear give him a distinct look that matches his  personality.

When he’s not playing with his favorite spring toys or foam rainbow balls, Oats loves watching birds and garbage trucks through the window.. Oats’ journey reminds everyone that with resilience and the right support, life can be full of joy—no matter what.
